Rather than just using Instagram, I decided to open this image in Lightroom and see what I could do with it. I'm quite pleased with the level of control I have over a simple iPhone photo, and the end result. I used a reverse radial filter to open up the jet engine.
More experimentation in Lightroom. This time, noise reduction, sharpening, clarity, color balance and a radial filter.
